Short Description/Objective

Larnaca Municipality, in cooperation with the Cyprus National Addictions Authority, has transformed the former residence of the Larnaca Chief of Police into a Creative Engagement Centre, aiming to support and empower vulnerable groups, with a focus on the prevention of all forms of addiction.

The Centre will operate as a space supporting young people and vulnerable groups, offering opportunities for social inclusion, information, and interaction. In addition to providing services, the Centre aims to actively empower the city’s youth and support vulnerable social groups.

Expected Benefits/Outcomes

The Centre will assume a new, vibrant, functional, and socially oriented role, offering vulnerable individuals the opportunity to express themselves freely, to create and grow, while promoting the values of teamwork and cooperation.

Furthermore, through the activities promoted by the Centre, individuals facing addiction challenges will be empowered to adopt a more productive lifestyle, enhance their skills, reintegrate into the labour market, and pursue a more active social life.
