Short Description/Objective  

The project concerns the construction of a new, modern, contemporary, and functional residential care facility for elderly people, with a total area of 1,812 sq.m. and accommodation capacity for 48 residents. The project aims to strengthen and upgrade the social infrastructure of the Municipality of Larnaca through the provision of specialized and high-quality care services for elderly individuals.

Expected Benefits/Outcomes

The project will provide accommodation for elderly people, offering them modern facilities and all the necessary amenities for safe and dignified living. At the same time, it will operate as a vibrant meeting and socialization space for senior citizens, creating favorable conditions for social interaction, creative engagement, and active participation in activities aimed at addressing social issues. In this way, the project will contribute substantially both to improving the quality of life of elderly people and to easing the burden on their families, who are often unable to provide the required level of care.

Furthermore, the operation of the new facility will create new employment opportunities to meet the increased staffing and support needs.
