Short Description/Objective

The Technical School for Green Professions will train young people in green technologies and skills, addressing a gap in the existing Secondary Technical Education. The domestic economy will therefore be able to access human resources in specialties that are essential for diversifying the production model and ensuring the country’s green transition.

The programmes of study that will be offered at the Technical School for Green Professions in Larnaca include, among others, the following:

• Gas  – Natural Gas Technician (Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering)
• Electric Vehicle Engineer – Interdisciplinary specialisation (Fields of Study: Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering)
• Green Plumber (Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering)
• Renewable Energy Technology Specialist (Fields of Study: Electrical Engineering and Electronic Applications)
• New Era Electrician, specializing in energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and their connection to the central grid (Fields of Study: Electrical Engineering and Electronic Applications)
• Surveying Technician in Geoinformatics (Fields of Study: Architecture and Civil Engineering)
• Bioclimatic Architecture (Fields of Study: Architecture and Civil Engineering)
• Green Building Construction Technician (Fields of Study: Building Works and Constructions)
• Horticulture and Garden Design (Fields of Study: Architecture and Civil Engineering).
