Description/Objective

The project concerns the creation of a modern Unified Operations Coordination Centre within the Fire Service, equipped with advanced technologies and infrastructure for the continuous (24/7) management of incidents across the country. Through centralized call management and the installation of specialized software, the immediate mobilization of the appropriate forces is ensured, enhancing the national response capacity to protect life, property, and the environment.

Expected Benefits/Outcomes  

The project is expected to:

• Enhance coordination among fire stations in responding to a wide range of incidents;
• Reduce response times at the scene of an incident;
• Enable continuous, real-time communication between the Crisis Management Centre and citizens, allowing for the collection of critical information and the effective guidance of responding units;
• Ensure the systematic recording of calls and operational procedures, supporting transparency as well as the identification and correction of system weaknesses;
• Guarantee the safety and confidentiality of communication.
