Short Description/Objective

The project involves the creation of a 3 km Linear Park alongside Gialias River, connecting Idalion Municipality with the areas of Pera Chorio and Nisou. It will be accessible via the existing road network, ensuring easy and safe access to citizens.

The park will include pedestrian and cycling paths, playgrounds, skate park, dog park, outdoor exercise equipment, green strips, viewpoints, parking and public restrooms, as well as nighttime lighting.

The aim of the project is to create a modern and safe network of outdoor public spaces for sports and entertainment, enhance the natural environment and attract visitors with educational, environmental and tourist interests, while contributing to the area’s sustainable development.

The project is expected to contribute substantially to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants, with a focus on entertainment, sports and the upgrading of the natural environment.
