Description/Objective

The Project includes the development, setup, configuration and implementation of a new information system that deals with cadastral and assessment functions for the Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS),which will replace and improve all the operations of the old existing system.

The objective of the Project is the set-up of an integrated modern Land Information System with updated, enhanced and redesigned functions, designed in an efficient manner, in order to serve efficiently, seamlessly and reliably the operational processes of the DLS as well as the provision of services to all independent services of the wider public sector, other organisations and to the citizens.

Progress/Implementation Stage

The object of the Project will be implemented through four Contracts:

• Main Contract for the Upgrade/Expansion of the DLS
  The Contract was signed on 20/09/2024 (No. DLS2021/042). The Project started on 04/10/2024 and its completion is expected to be implemented in October 2028. 
• Contracts for the Upgrading of the Infrastructure of the Online Platform “DLS Portal”
  The first tender was launched on 05/09/2022 (No.DLS2022/019) and awarded in February 2023. The completion of the Contract is expected to be implemented during the second quarter of 2027.
  The second tender was launched on 18/12/2025 (No. DLS2025/056) and is currently at the evaluation stage. The completion of the Contract is expected to be implemented during the second quarter of 2027.
• Contract for the Purchase of IT Services
  The tender was launched on 01/12/2022(No. DLS2022/058) and awarded in June 2023. The completion of the Contract is expected to be implemented during the second quarter of  2028.
