On Thursday, 22 February 2024, a ceremony was held to present the results of three co-funded social inclusion projects: the “Rainbow” Childcare and Activities Centre, the Social Solidarity and Networking Centre “TO STEKI” and the Information and Training Centre for the Promotion of Employment and Entrepreneurship “KEEAED”. The ceremony was held in the presence of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the Municipal Council of Nicosia, political parties, representatives of Government Services, as well as individuals who have benefited from the services offered by the Centres. It was organised by Nicosia Municipality at the Nicosia Municipal Multipurpose Centre. 

These projects contribute to the development of a multifaceted social policy by offering essential and quality services and actions that improve the quality of life of citizens.

It is noted that the building facilities of the three Centres were co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Sustainable Development 2014-2020”, while the programmes and services of the “Rainbow” and “KEEAED” Centres are co-funded by the EU under the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA2021-2027”.
